Grid Cardinals Sign Young, Ex-Chattanooga U. Fullback Dick Young, U. of Chattanooga fullback whom the Chicago Cardinals drafted as a "future" following his junior year in the 1953-1954 draft, has been signed and will report along with all other Card rookies at the Lake Forest College training camp July 17, managing director Walter Wolfner announced. Young, a transplanted "Connecticut Yankee" — his home is in Trumbull, Conn., played in the Blue-Gray, North-South and Senior Bowl games following the 1954 season and, in the North-South game, had the distinction of outgaining Wisconsins Alan Ameche.
