LIVE BAIT became a strong contender after going half the trip, and forging to the front of ULTIMATUM around the stretch turn, drew away from the latter gradually under hard urging. ULTIMATUM had good speed throughout and was clearly the best of the rest. ANUNY ONE finished with good courage. SAY-BELLE failed to offer serious contention. HI SUZANNE lacked speed at all times. FINE FETTLE was closer up than usual in the early running and finished steadily. JAKAPINE was always a forward factor. MIDAS TOUCH had early speed but tired.
