SOWEGA was mildly urged to be with the leaders, wrested command on the stretch turn and rapidly drew out, winning as her rider pleased MENTAL IMAGE closely pressed the pace, gained a brief lead on the turn and was tiring rapidly in the final yards ACE REPORTER was a forward factor under urging and lacked a rally in the stretch. SURE TOSS was not a threat. CASH REQUEST was dene after a half mile. MR. FAST ITEM was blocked and sharply taken up at the far turn, found an opening next to the rail while rallying gamely through the stretch and outfinished KEENSON. The latter was lightly urged along while forcing and setting the pace and fought it out determinedly. HENROB was a keen factor from the outset and weakened in the final yards. WILD RIDE saved ground next to the rail, vying with COSMIC HERO from the beginning, and narrowly bested that rival in a prolonged drive. COSMIC HERO gained the advantage over WILD RIDE on the final turn, but dropped back slightly in the upper stretch, then was hard punished and just missed. BLAZING ROCKET lacked early speed and raced wide into the stretch, then closed fast in company with TETRA SUN. The latter raced very wide around the turn and closed willingly in the homestretch. FLYING TEDDY could not stay with the top pair and weakened. BUT FIRST lost some ground outside the first flight. BETTER MAID broke poorly. MADEIRA showed nothing. FOURTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS. MARCHESE was reserved within striking distance, opened a commanding lead under punishment in the upper stretch, but was tiring at the end. LOVE-A-CHANCE was under pressure wearing down GOOD SHOWING, offered little resistance when displaced, but was coming again at the end. JETFAST saved ground and rallied well under punishment through the final quarter mile. SOUTH HOLLAND closed willingly in the final stages. ISAYOLBOY was not a serious factor. LADY REDBIRD was outrun. MILITANT MISS wa srestrained while racing between the top pair on the turn, then lugged in when set down for the drive. CERULIA could not keep up while racing between horses.
