Claiming price for today is given after trainers p name, "c" before claiming price indicates horse was claimed imported horses shown after breeders name Post r. position is shown after jockeys name. F Optional claiming races are indicated by a superior "o" immediately preceding or following the claiming F price. Note: The latter is being used only for optional claiming races run on or after April 12, 1954. Combination races are the same as optional claiming races. Last line in past performances gives horses latest workouts. "Feb 26 Hia 3-8 ft :35yshg" informs the reader that the horse worked on Feb 26 at Hialeah Park. The distance of the trial was three furlongs The time was 35% seconds handily from the gate, the track fast "h" means handily; "b" breezing; "d" driving, "e" easily; "g" worked from gate: "u" eased up.
