| Stewards Rulings SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., j May 12. — The stewards here today issued the following ruling: "Jockey Dudley Vandenborre is suspended for 10 racing days, May 14 to May 25, inclusive, for rough riding in the ninth race of May 11." CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky„ May 12. — The stewards posted the following ruling here today rela- tive to the first stimulation case of the , current Kentucky spring season: j "The chemist representing the Kentucky State Racing Commission has 1 reported that the urinalysis of the 1 sample taken from the horse Teapoy, , winner of the first race at Churchill Downs, May 9, 1955, indicated the presence of a drug of the nature of procaine, a local anaesthetic. "Pursuant to Rule 252 of the Rules of Racing of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, which says in part, The trainer shall be responsible for and the absolute insurer of the condition of the horses he enters, regardless of the acts of third parties, trainer P. Clark is suspended 60 calendar days, effective May 12. "The purse is forfeited and distributed as follows: First money to Little Danny, second money to Sharp Mark, third money to Air Battle, fourth money to Lady Norm. The betting on the race is in no way affected." GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 12. — The stewards here today issued the following ruling: "Jockey Joe Culmone is suspended for 10 racing days May 14 through May 25 for careless riding, first race, Garden State Park, May 11, 1955." Culmone was astride Mrs. J. Mc Gees two-year-old Rosiere, who won, but was disqualified for impeding the second horse, Leslie Jane Stables Hope Marie. DUFFERIN PARK, Toronto, Ont., May 12. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Jockey Lyman Richards is suspended for five days May 14-19, inclusive for careless riding in the third race on Wednesday, May 11, when astride Top Me. He crowded inside horses at the first turn." WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling, W. Va., May 12. — The stewards issued the following ruling here Wednesday: "On the protest of trainer-owner R. C. Howard whose horse Gamma Phi finished second in the fourth race this date May 11 that Gala Boston which finished first did not meet the weight conditions of the race, Gala Boston was disqualified as winner and set back to last after the protest was sustained. The wagering was not affected. "The purse was redistributed as follows: 1 Gamma 2 3 — Phi; — Fly Girl; — Church Bells, and 4 — Fathoms Deep." FONNER PARK, Grand Island, Neb., May 12. — The stewards here issued the following ruling yesterday: "For failure to report to the jockey room on time Wednesday, May 11, 1955, apprentice jockey Lewis Germany is hereby fined 5.00." MEXICO, D. F„ May 12.— The stewards of the Hipodromo de las Americas issued the following ruling: "The horse Costly, owned by Cuadra Pegasos is disqualified from second place and placed last for not being eligible in the fourth race on May 3, 1955. "The purse is redistributed as follows: First place to Jimmy Sirte; second to Kennedy Good; third to Sister Sue, and fourth to Pinturera. "The disqualification in no way affects the mutuel pay-off."
