May 12.— Jockey Howard Craig, one of Ohios native sons and one of the most popular reinsmen in this area in several years, will journey to Detroit Saturday night. He will ply his trade at the Michigan Racing Association meeting, which will open on Saturday, May 21. Ralph Parachek. president and general manager of the Fort Miami plant, who races a useful string of thoroughbreds on the Michigan and Ohio circuits, will have first call on the lads services at Detroit. Craig will be accompanied on the trip by Cliff Sandusky, who handles the boys riding engagements.
