Swaps to Appear Before Fans At Hollywood Two Afternoons HOLLYWOOD-PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 12. — Fans who attend Hollywood Parks opening Friday or the racing program Saturday will have a chance to see Kentucky Derby champion Swaps, vice-president and general manager James D. Stewart of Hollywood Park announced yesterday. Stewart said that owner Rex Ellsworth and trainer Meshach Tenney consented to take Swaps out on the track both days between the third and fourth races for a jog the full length of the stands. "The horse belongs to the public and well be glad to show him off, Ellsworth said. "Its the peoples support of racing that makes a great horse like Swaps possible and it will be a pleasure to give his southern California followers a close-up view."
