Sherer Returning to Office Duties on Part-time Basis COLUMBUS, Ohio. May 1?.— Hugh A. Sherer. assistant attorney general who in recent years has been counsel for the State Racing Commission, plans to return to his office Monday but only on a part-time basis. Sherer became ill while on a vacation in Panama early in March. After returning here, he underwent a gall bladder operation, from which he is now recuperating. During Sherers absence, his duties with the State Racing Commission are being handled by William A. Carroll, also an assistant attorney general.
