SUDUESE went to the front early and made the pace to the stretch under steady rating, responded willingly when hard urged during the drive and held NEAR YOU safe but won with little left. The latter, never far back, moved up boldly entering the stretch, saved ground during the drive but could not overtake the winner. TILE KING gave a good performance and had no mishap. MARYANA raced evenly to the stretch and closed resolutely under punishment. DOG CIRCUS faltered after racing forwardly placed to the final furlong. BOBS PAMELA was outrun and had no mishap. MISS J., bothered at the first turn by LADY BENT, then saved ground while improving position to the stretch, assumed command when settled for the drive and increased her advantage when briskly handled during the final furlong. BLUE OPAL, outrun early, was crowded by LADY BENT after leaving the upper turn, was taken to the outside for the stretch run and closed gamely but could not reach the top one. QUEENS RGERET raced with TALION for three-quarters mile but faltered during the drive. TALION tired after racing well to the stretch. HASTY FREEDOMS began slowly. EXTRAVAGANZA was outrun and had no mishap. LADY BENT bore in from the start, crowded MISS J. at the initial turn and impeded BLUE OPAL at the upper turn, then drifted out while tiring during the stretch run. HARLEM SQUARE, raced wide throughout, losing all chance. GRAY RAIDER was never dangerous. Scratched— 47329 Blue Skies, 113. Overweight— Lady Bent, 2 pounds.
