The Wednesday feature has drawn the entry of R. C. Gilmores Thoughtless, Phil Brossards Free Lap, H. G. Wells Heno .Sissy, Jordan Brothers Jr. Moran, Wes and Guy Roricks Madeos Dream, Dear; Mosers Two Step and the Glenn Murphy entry of Buster Byrd and Flashy Ways. Heno Sissy and Madeos Dream are the only two who have not started at this meeting. The others have all won at Fonner Park. Glenn Murphy will send out a powerful duo in Buster Byrd and Flashy Ways. Flashy Ways won the Inaugural Handicap in the track record time of 1:19% for six and one-half furlongs. Buster Byrd v/cn his i . -1 • c first out in two years on opening day, despite the fact his rider, Larry Byers, broke a stirrup going into the" first turn. The pair have not been out since the first day of the meeting and should be sharp for their ap-*1-pearance in Wednesdays top offering. Thoughtless, a short-priced favorite in her first out, was only able to gain a hard won victory. The daughter of Bleu dOr had a great deal of trouble beating Big Ox three-quarters of a length over a muddy sxip. The R. C. Gilmore mare was making her first appearance under colors this year and should improve over that effort. Trainer Jim Majors will send out Heno Sissy for her first _start at Fonner Park in Wednesdays Burwell Rodeo Purse. The son of Piggin String reigned as sprint champion around the Rocky Mountain area for a number of years and won the Inaugural Handicap at Arizona Downs early this year. The magnificent looking horse appears to be in fine fettle and al-wajs gives a good account of himself. Free Lap, Jr. Moran and Two Step have all won against cheaper company and help to fill out the best_sprint feature that has been offered during the current season at Fonner Park- l is £ 6 f £ - i c .
