Ohio Notes . FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 8. — Five .horses changed hands via the claiming route during the first 25 days of the current meeting. The handle at the current meeting shows an increase of approximately 15 per cent, while the attendance is up 13 per cent over the same period last year. Arthur Farrell still leads the saddle-smiths in the battle for riding honors here, having visited the charmed circle 24 times, while veteran Kenney Robertson has chalked up 22 winners during the first 25 days. P. J. MacMillan arrived from Fort Erie, Canada with a draught of horses that he will campaign at the current meeting. Dr. Sutler, who was a clubhouse visitor here over the week end, returned to the Motor City this morning. He has thoroughbreds here in care of trainer M. E. Hef-feran. During the first 25 days of this meeting at the Lucas County Fail* Grounds course, 179 different horses have accounted for purses. Twenty-four horses have scored twice and four, Miss Flamingo, Bob Stewart, Around and Connie/-Jo, have racked up three victories each. Johnny Bev is the latest addition to the large colony of riders quartered here. The third and final edition of the condition book was released to horsemen here yesterday by racing secretary John R.
