Eiffel Blue Raises Status PIMLICO. Baltimore, Md., May 8.— Eiffel Blues victory in a mile and a sixteenth overnight event at Jamaica Monday probably raised his status as a prospective Preakness starter considerably. Eiffel Blue won by 12 lengths on a sloppy track in the colors of D. G. Arnstein. Four other Preakness hopes were among those finishing behind him.
