GREELY JR.— Trainer ofVagabond King, winner of the Bonnie Scotland I Purse at Churchill Downs. leaking and Cascanuez Wei In Endurance Handicap No. 3 Favoritism for Sportsman s * Mile and Five-Sixteenths Race May Go to Fogonazo SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 8; — The winners of Endurance Handicap No. 1 and Endurance Handicap No. 2 will meet in Endurance Handicap No. 3, feature event at this track for Wednesday, and they will be opposed by five others for a ,500 purse. The distance will be one mile and five-sixteenths, a most unusual route, and neither Streaking, winner of Endurance Handicap No. 1, nor Cascanuez, winner of Endurance Handicap No. 2, is expected to be favored. Due to the distance, that post of honor is likely to be held by Fogonazo, who was second in Endurance Handicap No. 1 and third in Endurance Handicap No. 2. Streaking is owned by Henry R. Stark, and Cascanuez races for the Sun Coast Stable. Fogonazo is owned by Mrs. Russell L. Reineman. Others in the line-up are Sito, from the Woodview Farm; Medico, owned by Charles S. Handelman; Bookworm, owned by Anthony Graffagnini, and Mr. Dink, from the stable of B. H. Wise. Streaking Winner of Mile, Sixteenth Event The first Endurance Handicap, which was taken by Streaking, was at one and one-sixteenth mile, was run on a good track, and the gray gelding, with 120 pounds up, beat Fogonazo, 118 up, by a half length. The two will carry equal weights Wednesday. Cascanuez was sixth in that race while Bookworm was third, and Mr. Dink, fifth. Endurance Handicap No. 2 was at one and one-eighth miles and was on a slow track. Cascanuez, extreme outsider in the field, was receiving six pounds in weight from Fogonazo and seven pounds from Streaking and beat the former by two lengths and Streaking by four lengths. Cascanuez picks up three pounds for Wednesdays contest. In Endurance Handicap No. 2, Sito was fifth, Mr. Dink, sixth, and Medico, seventh. It is expected that the track will be fast for the running of Endurance. Handicap No. 3, and Howard Craig will ride Streaking, Sam Massero will be on Cascanuez, and Job Jessop on Fogonazo.
