BLACK BREAD moved into command shortly after the start and showed speed throughout, shook off opposition entering the stretch and drew away at the end. PEON was under pressure from the start, made a determined bid in the stretch run and then faltered at the finish. WESGOT was under urging in the stretch and then faltered at the finish. KENS MOM was close up in the early stages and had no mishaps. TITANIUM broke slowly from outside the stalls and made up some ground. KAMPORT lacked speed and vas outrun. I Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. LADY BETHYL was outrun in the early stages, but improved her position rounding the far turn, responded to urging in the stretch run, wore down the leaders and was drawing away at the end. BROWN LIGHT raced forwardly from the start, moved into command entering the stretch and then held on well to the end. JACAROO was badly outrun in the early stages and then was steered to trie outside and finished with a rush. ST. ANNA moved up fast entering the stretch, assumed command at the eighth post and then faltered. BROAD TAIL, a forward factor in the early stages, was weakly handled throughout. EDELAD dropped back after the start and showed a dull effort. WHITE TOPPER had. a flash of early speed and then quit. AMPLE was never a factor in the running. SCURRY raced in near pursuit of the pace from the start, moved up in the stretch run and disposed of IMPSHI and drew away at the end. The latter showed speed from the start, saved ground, but faltered in the final eighth. GRAND LADY saved ground throughout and held on well to the end. ON STAGE •was rdused sharply entering the stretch, then came wide at the end. JESSIE GLADYS raced greenly all the way. BROWN SLAVE showed a good effort. PENELOPE D. moved up fast after a slow beginning. GLAD EYE lacked speed. STEEP was eased back after the start. SUNTACK and GALLARE were outrun. Scratched— 73091 All Clear, 115. MARY SCHULZ followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved up gamely in the stretch and responded to severe urging, held on, well in the final strides to finish in a dead heat with RUST. The latter, on the outside under restraint the first part, moved up fast when settled on the back stretch, responded to urging in the stretch, but hung right at the finish. FALSE POINT was eased back when settled on the back stretch, sent up into close quarters turning for home, then came with a belated rush at the end. LA CHARITE showed speed while saving ground and then tired at the finish. FAIR STEIN dropped back at the start and lacked speed, but came with a belated rush at the end. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MDLE. CAUGHT, on the outside .of the leaders rounding the far and stretch turns, had no mishaps thereafter. UVALDE was eased back going to the first turn, but made up some ground slowly.
