Won ridden out; second and third driving. _ CHUBBINS, away well and taken under light restraint after being rushed into command on the Inside, continued to save ground to the stretch, where she swerved out while increasing her advantage and ridden out, had little left. JURABOY, a strong factor from the start, was benefited by good rating and holding on well, wore down AGLOW in the closing strides. The latter, in hand for almost a half mile, failed "to rallv when called upon, vet hung on fairly well to the end. CATCHEM raced well from a slow beginning. MORNING MAIL had no mishaps. SOLAR HAWK was held safe throughout. Won easily; second and third driving. • VALDINA NYMPH, away fast, but unable to hold the advantage, moved up. fast .when saving ground on the stretch turn, closed boldly when continuing on the inside in the stretch and won easily. WINKLE had speed from the start, took command under mild pressure in the stretch and held on well, but was not good enough. SUN LARK was a sharp factor from the start and held on well. BLUE HARMONY, away fast and strongly urged from the start, bore out slightly on the turn and tired in the last eighth. VALDINA DAME raced wide in her good effort. WISE ALLY lost much ground and failed to keep up. ESCOHIGH, away well and rated along close to the early leaders, came through on the inside entering the stretch, opened up a commanding lead under vigorous riding, but was taken in hand in the last fifty yards. CHEROVAN, away slowly and far back for a half mile, came to the outside in the stretch and, closing with a rush, easily disposed of the others. FREE MONEY received a hustling ride and gave an even performance. MALEMAN began to tire after reaching the last three-sixteenths. DECOURCY made up ground in the stretch. FINELLA took command quickly, easily held PEPPER BOX safe while making the early pace, was shaken "up in the stretch and held her wide advantage to the end, but probably had little left. BARGAIN HUNTER was under light urging after a half mile and tired, but outstayed GOLDSMITH. The latter, on the outside after the first five-sixteenths, made only a mild bid in the stretch, but might have been second in another stride. IDEAL FUNGI had no mishaps. PEPPER BOX quit. SQUAW LADY, racing in her best torm and reserved off the early pace, secured room on the inside in the stretch and, sent into command with a rush approaching the final eighth, easily held the race safe thereafter. CANDESCENT was in hand for a half mile, swerved out on the stretch turn and closed well when straichtened. LADY FLASH displayed cood speed under hustling tactics, also lost ground entering the stretch and began to falter before reaching the Jast three-sixteenths. JEAN LEE raced wide throughout. GREY STREAK was kept under a good hold for a half mile, did not respond when called upon and gave way sharply in the last three-sixteenths. TAKEN began very slowly. Scratched— 66635 Abanico, 102. KINGS BLUE, away well and hustled to the front during the opening eighth, drew clear under steady restraint, increased his advantage when roused in the stretch, responded to strong urging when tiring and finished in a dead heat with ARABS ARROW. The latter, taken in hand until well settled into his stride, worked his way forward on the outside, but after engaging the winner when inside the final sixteenth, hung in the final stride. JANICE, hustled along from the start, was unable to withstand ARABS ARROW, and tired after reaching the stretch. LAST MESSAGE, forced back after reaching the main course and lacking room until reaching the stretch, closed with a rush. AIR CHUTE raced on the outside and tired after improvine his position. BERNARD F., on the inside and well up for three-eighths, gave way thereafter. KNEE DEEP and THREE BANGS were outrun. Scratched— 73280 Manic OHara, 102. ! LASSIE FLO, well up and reserved for three-eighths, was steered to the outside of VERAKEE approaching the stretch and, after wearing her down when inside the final eighth, was unable to hold, the winner.- VERAKEE, fractious but away well, was hustled into a commanding lead early, held sway under light restraint, was put to strong handling when challenged and tired rapidly after a mile. EBONY PARASOL, in close quarters the greater part of the trip, tired. BOBBRAX bore out in the last stages. WEST SEA, rushed into contention after a half mile, tired under pressure.
