DIXIE WIDE OPEN RACE BALTIMORE, Md. May 4.— Heelflys victory over Pompoon in the Gittings Handicap yesterday makes the Dixie a wide open race since the chances of Bull Lea, Cravat, Ja-cola, Thanksgiving, Burning Star and a half dozen others are now given more serious consideration. Observers, however, were of the opinion that the Vanderbilt star would probably be made favorite in the Dixie renewal next Wednesday.
