DOMKIN, away nicely, was hurried to the front on the turn, moved clear entering the stretch, swerved slightly when placed to punishment midway of the stretch, but drew out swiftly. POMPANITA, forced to race on the outside for racing room, worked her way into a forward position, but could not threaten the winner. BREAKING WAVES was close up until reaching the stretch, then tired. BRIERLEY finished gamely. ASTER LADY began swiftly, but was done after going three-eighths. MOLASSES JULIA saved ground all the way. LADY MOWLEE had early speed. BRAVE ON broke tardily. SKINDOODLE was inclined to bear out badly on the turn. POLLY MACDUN was never a factor. Won easily; second and third driving. m PROPH, racing equipped with spurs, was away fast to go along in the thick of contention while being rated, overhauled the leaders without effort and 3rcw away steadily. .LITTLE DRIFT was prominent . in the early running, moved up stronglv at the stretch turn, but could not threaten the winner. COMBATANT, beginning very slowly, saved ground and finished stoutly in the last five-sixteenths. DARK SUN, lacking early speed, came wide in the late stages to improve his position. CORNWALLIS was unable to get into , contention. GALON BOY tired badly. BARGAIN BOY was outrun. BRIAR PLUME was used up racing with the pacemaker and flattened out after getting into a short lead on the turn. MARCO POLO was ; held safe. Overweight — Briar Plume, 2£ pounds. THIRD RACE 2 MILES. VALPUISEAUX, rated close up for a turn of the field, raced into command at the eighth fence, opened up a long lead when MAY BOY fell, was steadied to his fences and held sway to the close. BRIAR BLUE, saved for the first mile, entered contention when shaken up, hobbled at the thirteenth jump, recovered and was best of the others. CLAQUE could not get to the leaders at any time. HAPPY JOE was done after going a mile and galloped along far back of the first three. MAY BOY fell at the ninth fence. SAILORS KNOT fell at the eighth" and SENOIA ran out of the course after the seventh jump and almost unseated his rider. FOURTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS. MANYMOR, outrun for the first three-quarters, worked his way to the leaders at the final turn, moved to the front readily when straightened into the stretch, continued strong and drew out ncaring the end. THE SERF, under light restraint while racing well placed, was sent into contention steadily, was placed to severe punishment in the stretch drive, but failed to reach the winner. BANNER GIRL, going close to the pacemaker from the start, saved ground and held on well to the finish. MAEWHI5K was sipadipd whilp setting flip pace, but could not stay. CACKLE TIME had no excuses. SUNNYSHORE, rated in the, early racing, moved up at the final turn, but tired fast in the stretch run. CAREFUL MISS was unable to threaten in the early racing and passed tiring horses in the stretch drive. ROYAL BUSINESS was taken wide for the entire trip. LADY INFINITE tired fast. ARDEN LASS, lacking early speed and a trailer to the stretch turn, came through on the inside and finished full of run. NOSY was forced to race on the outside from the beginning, was strongly ridden and came courageously under a severe drive. COCKEREL was in the thick of contention all the way and showed a good effort. HELENS LAD. saved off the parly pacp, moved forward when, shaken tip, engaged the winner on the stretch turn and foueht it out stoutly. MISS FIX IT could not cet clear after moving to the front early and tired in the last three-sixteenths. ANN MOWLEE was under pressure all the way, but was unable to stay. SOARING HIGH tired after forcinc the early pace. AIR EDDY passed tiring horses. ANNIKIN had no mishaps. BEACON ROCK lacked early speed and was never a threat. LYCONNA was held safe. BOUNDING COUNT, eased back off the pace after being hustled into a prominent position going to the first turn, rallied strongly after being given a breathing spell, swung to the outside in the last three-eighths, closed determinedly and was up in the concluding strides. MON DOIT, handled his weight well to go forwardly on the inside, responded strongly when placed to a drive, wore IN MEMORY down under punishment and fought it out stubbornly to the end. IN MEMORY raced into a clear lead early, was rated while saving ground and finished with good energy, under severe punishment. JUSTA FLIGHT closed strongly in "the last half mile. LONE GALLANT had no excuses. SPARTAN LADY tired after making a mild bid on the finaj turn. JAVAMOCHA dropped back early and pulled up lame. Corrected weight— Mon Doit, 122.
