STAFF WORKS SMOOTHLY PAWTUCKET, R. I., May 4.— The setup of the racing secretarys office at Narragansett this year is undoubtedly the smoothest working and most efficient ever to function at a New England race track. Horsemen are loud in their praise of the success of Bob Shelleys crew in fitting races to horses on the grounds and in consequence there has been no trouble in filling races since the meeting opened. Shelleys "right eye," Pat Galliger, has proven himself an invaluable assistant while Tommy Steele, Duke Dahlstrom, Har ry Fiske, Horace Wade and Bob McAuliffe complete a crew which tops any ever assembled in New England. The outfit "as Is" will be back at Narragansett for the summer meeting. »
