BASHFORD MANOR DRAWS TEN Thirty-Fourth Renewal of the Noted Juvenile Race Main Event of Louisvilles Friday Card. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 4.— The thirty-fourth running of the ,500 added Bash-ford Manor Stakes will be presented as the feature of the Churchill Downs program tomorrow afternoon. It will be the fourth stakes of the week and the fifth offered since the opening. The five furlongs dash heretofore always attracted the leading juveniles quartered here and this years running is no exception. Among the winners of the stakes were juveniles that went on to greater fame and glory and with such stars as Joseph E. Wideners Roman and Town Boy; A. L. Fergusons Black Brummel and Milky Way Farms Charitable and Chatted among the field of ten named overnight, the dash is expected to decide the supremacy among the two-year-olds that have engaged in Kentucky racing. ROMAN READY. Roman comes up to the race with three victories, two of which were achieved at Keeneland and the other at Hialeah Park, to his credit and thereby will tote the top burden of 125 pounds. The son of Sir Gallahad III. and Buckup was an easy winner of the Lafayette Stakes at his last asking and despite the calibre of his opponents is expected to enjoy favoritism. Town Boy was unsuccessful in his two attempts at Keeneland but won at Hialeah Park. The field for the Bashford Manor Stakes in order of post positions, weights and probable jockeys follow: P.P.
