Ernst has retired Albubble from training and the son of Bubbling Over — Blackeyed Kathleen, by Black Servant, has been listed with the Cromwell Bloodstock Agency for sale as a stallion. He was a very fast horse and is an own brother to Ballygran. Barry Shannon is back at Idle Hour Farm for the summer, after having spent his twenty-first winter at Palm Beach, Fla. He looks fit as a fighter and says he took off a lot of weight by systematic exercise. He reports that Sam H. McCormick is making a splendid and popular official as secretary-treasurer of Hialeah Park. M. M. Shields has purchased Winnataska from J. C. Milam and has leased the two-year-olds Entres Nous and Valvita from J. O. Keene.
