Illinois Notes FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., June 17. Trainer Roy Slomer sent the two horses The Phoenix and Laura J. W. back to Chicago. The horses are the property of P. H. Green. The partners, Gilbert and Robertson, shipped their nine-horse stable to Littleton, Colo., where they will campaign at the forthcoming Centennial meeting. In the shipment were Who Knows, Mikes Boy, Golden Moon and Saxon Knight. Frank Daniels, well known harness horse announcer and who took over the horsemens bookkeeping job when the late George Demerest passed on, departed Sunday for the Oneida, N. Y., harness meeting where he will take charge of the program form.. Vernon Downs runs for 66 nights, July 1 through Sept. 23. Ralph Stubbs, midwestern racing official, stopped over at Fairmount for a few days renewing acquaintances. Stubbs will have charge of the secretarys office at most of the Nebraska fair circuit meetings this summer.
