RENO was always fairly well up while racing on the outside and coming fast in the middle of the track through the stretch, took a short lead near the end to win under pressure. GOLDEN DOLL saved ground in th£ stretch and was going gamely at the end, PRETTY CINDY moved up to challenge at midstretch, but faltered in the final drive. MEAN WOMAN had the most early speed, but was not good enough to last. ASSIMILATE and NICHOLAS were outpaced. SKY PRINCESS went to the front on the backstretch and cleverly rated, withstood several challenges from PUTT PUTT to hold the latter to the finish. PUTT PUTT, after having made several futile attempts, was trying again at the end and wasagaining BARBARA L. moved up fairly well in the stretch to take third place from CRANBROOK, but was disqualified for, interferring with the latter and placed fourth. HOOSIER HAVOC had good early speed and saving ground on the stretch turn, battled gamely to the end.. EDDIE SUE was closest to the pace after heading MIMI MINE and, although going fairly well to the end, had to be shuffled along to hold GOOD CALL. The latter trailed early but finished strongly in the middle of the track. PUSSY CAT saved ground where possible in a creditable effort. MIMI MINE was close enough early but tired in the stretch.
