THE BLUE MISS caught JUMP TUNE after going half the distance, and polling into a good lead on the stretch turn, was not in danger in the late stages. MIDAS TOUCH came fast in the middle of the track through the stretch. FLYING PAT was never too far away and moved gamely on the inside in the stretch. TOPPER B. was always fairly close up, HEAD FOR HOME moved up nearing the far turn, then faded. ROCKY SIR was never a contender. Scratched— 88713 Fuse Box, 116; 891974 Ticker Tape, 109. NIGHT PARADE took a forward position early but was in close quarters on the inside after going half the trip and eased back, then continued next to the rail to find a wide opening in the last fifty yards and came through to best BOOTS HAVEN. The latter had speed and ran a good race. ALS BOURBON made a strong run on the outside after leaving the • backstretch and loomed as a possible winner an eighth out, but lacked finishing strength. , LYLES FIRST was always a good contender.
