Forty-Nine Longport Nominees ATLANTIC CITY, Mays Landing, N. J., Aug. 17. The 5,000 added Longport Handicap, first of three juvenile stakes to be decided here, closed with 49 eligibles for the six furlongs dash which will have its second running on September 2. Prominent among the juveniles are Llangollen Farms Porterhouse, winner of the colt division of the National Stallion Stakes and Christiana Stakes; Allen H. Smiths By Jeepers, Dover Stakes victor, and Joe Gavegnanos Errard King, Tyro Stakes winner.
