PARKLEA took a short t lead after going a quarter and, increasing her advantage as BLUE ETERNITY began to drop back, had enough left at the finish to hold BIGTIME GAL. The latter broke well, but soon dropped out of it, then came very fast on the inside through the stretch and was gainiDg rapidly. DREAM CREAM raced wide in tjie stretch but made up ground. TINKER NEFF came fairly well through the stretch. BLUE ETERNITY and RUTHIE S. tired. The others were outpaced and HER CHANCE bled. Overweight Line Drive, 1 pounds. Line Drive claimed by T. F. PATS VALENTINE was close to the pace until ready to make his move entering the stretch, then easily disposed of SNOW PRINCE to draw out and win by a wide margin. MISS J. was never too far removed and came strongly near the end to dispose cf the s others.. COASTAL GOLD made up some ground in the middle of the track in the stretch. BULL HIEROCLES dashed to the front after going a short distance and, having little trouble pulling away from his field in the stretch, won by a wide margin. MISS PIGTAIL displayed a fair measure of early foot and, although tiring at the end, held PlTRUN. The latter was close enough early but failed to threaten to take command. LADY DEKOVER went evenly. EVERGREEN, off slowly, was eased back when on the inside of a horse rounding the far turn, then raced wide in the stretch and may be capable of a better performance. DEAR SANDY lacked speed in a rather dull effort. IRISH FLARE worked his way bp gradually on the outside and, getting to the front nearing the finish, had enough left to hold FINE .FETTLE. The latter was badly outrun early and came very fast on he inside through the stretch. FANCY STEP was always a good contender and held on well. UNCLE JOHN dashed to the front on the inside soon after the stact and opened up a good lead, then weakened near the end. FLYING PAT showed speed in spots and was all over the track. SIR MAGNO was headed by PRECIOUS STONE early but kept pace with the latter until ready to move to the front nearing the stretch turn, then drew out in the final eighth and worked out an extra furlong to finish out the mile and an eighth in 1:51. PRECIOUS STONE had a good amount of early speed and was never in danger of losing second place. PLATAN moved up fairly well nearing the stretch turn but had little left for the drive. JAMIE K. began slowly, lacked speed throughout and failed to make up an appreciable amount of ground, although punished through most of the stretch run. THAXTER went evenly. INDIAN HILL soon raced to the front and, shaking off ROMAN BATH after entering the last furlong, raced well to the end, but was all out to hold LE MONDE. The latter was required to race wide while making his move, but finished strongly well out from the rail. HEIR LINER trailed to the stretch and then went very wide on the far turn, but finished full of run. WELL WORTH IT was fairly well up most of the way.
