? Stewards Rulings HAZEL PARK, Mich., Auff. 17. The stewards made the following: ruling: today: "Jockey Anthony Ferraiuolo is sus-; pended 10 days, August 19 to August 29, inclusive, for careless riding: in the first and seventh races August .15." SARATOGA, Saratoga Springs, N. Y Aug. 17. The stewards issued the following ruling. "Jockey Eric Guerin is suspended for 10 racing days, effective Tuesday, August 18, to Friday, August 28, inclusive, for bearing out and interfering with Turn-to in the stretch during the running of the fourth race on Saturday, August 15. "His mount, Porterhouse, was disqualified from first position." RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, Aug. 17. The Randall Park stewards issued the following ruling here today: "Seguro was disqualified and placed third in the third race Saturday, August 15, 1953, for bumping and interfering with Cross End and Moose Eye. The official placing is as follows: Cross End, first; Moose Eye, second, and Seguro third, and Morocco Prince, fourth. Apprentice jockey Thomas Clinch having made a good effort to prevent the interference is held blameless. "The stewards hereby approve the sale of the horses Pied dAlouettc The Farmer and a unnamed two-year-old gelding by This England but of Head Sea from Mr. Howard H. Fowler to Mr. Charles Leser of Strongsville, Ohio. These horses are now placed in good standing as of this date." CENTENNIAL RACE TRACK, Littleton, Colo., Aug. 18. The stewards issued the following rulings today: "For off-track conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and in violation of the code of ethics of the jockey profession, jockey Jerry Gallion is suspended for the balance of the Centennial meeting and his case re- ferred to the Colorado Racing Commission, with the recommendation by the Centennial board of stewards that jockey Gallion be suspended until the outcome of the morals charge filed against him by civil authorities has been decided by the court, at which time jockey Gallion must appear before the Colorado Racing Commission for a hearing before being eligible to ride again. "For off-track conduct detrimental to the public interest and to the best interests of racing, jockey agent Tom O. Phillips is suspended for the balance of the Centennial meeting and his case referred to the Colorado Racing Commission, with the recommendation that his license be permanently revoked." DADE PARK, Henderson, Ky., Aug. 17. The stewards issued the following ruling today: "The four-year-old maiden filly, Bun Reward, is barred from further racing at Dade Park until such time as her true ownership can be established."
