Closing for Great Lakes HAZEL PARK, Mich., Aug. 17. Racing secretary-handicapper Horace Wade, of Hazel Park, calls attention of turfmen to the closing of entries on Thursday, August 20, for the ,500 Great Lakes Handicap, which will have its decision at six and one-half furlongs here on Saturday, August 22. Three-year-olds and up, are eligible to the Great Lakes and Wade stated this morning that he expects a crack field to parade postward in the half -holiday feature. !
