Orioles Switch Training Site BALTIMORE, Md., May 5 UP .—The Baltimore Orioles announced today they will train next spring in Scottsdale, Ariz., instead of Daytona Beach, Fla., where they trained this spring. Oriole president Clarence W. Miles closed the deal to, train in Scottsdale yesterday after a tour through three Arizona cities. Scottsdale-is 12 miles from Phoenix where the New York Giants train and five miles from Mesa, where the Chicago Cubs are based.
