Officials for Pimlico Meet Approved by Commissioners BALTIMORE, Md„ May 5.— Officials for the spring meeting of the Maryland Jockey-Club at Pimlico have been approved by the Maryland Racing Commission. Joseph Flanagan will be the state steward and Wiimer Brinton has been named as the steward representing Pimlico while G. Bryce Wing will serve with these two. Charles J. McLennan is director of racing and J. Fred Colwill is racing secretary Serving as placing and patrol judges and clerk of scales will be John Brennan Henry Enckson. E. C. Pons, Edward Dennison Melviri Mackin. Anthony Hyland, Merrill MacNeille and Lando Bressan. William Jennings will be paddock judge MacNeille will serve as identifier and will be assisted by Weldon Nevin. Edward R Blind is the starter. Henry Beardsley is director of safety and Robert Sloan will manage the mutuels department. |
