MORE APPS smoothly wore down SUMALEE and easily opened a commanding lead entering the stretch, then won as her rider pleased. SUMALEE had the most early speed, offered no resistance when challenged by the winner, but held on well in the stretch run. OCEAN HOP worked into closer contention on the turn and aid net threaten in the final run. ELRUSA broke tardily, rushed into closer contention and finished well. DOCTOR TONY bore out badly and was taken in hand on the turn SARA KATE and GOOGIN were forced wide and were taken in hand when DOCTOR TONY bore out on them at the far turn. WATER DOG was outrun. ELJAKA was under light pressure racing close to the pace and wore down MISS SHADOW under vigorous urging in the final run. The latter dashed into a clear lead approachinq the half-mile marker, responded to punishment when headed and fought it out gamely through the stretch. STAR Z. outbroke the field, dropped back and raced slightly wide on the turn and lacked a stretch rally. GALLOPING GUS did not respond for the drive. PREXY MAC was rushed into contention from a slow start and was done early. ROMANDALE circled wide and showed qood speed near the end. APRES MOI was smartly ridden and eased back from the early pace, closed determinedly from the outside when set down for the drive and won with authority. HALTER LACE saved ground dueling for the pace with KEENSON and finished well to best that rival. KEENSON loomed bedly on the final turn, then tired and attempted to lug in. ACE REPORTER dropped back racing slightly wide into the stretch, then finished well. HY-PATCH weakened under pressure. DEVIL FLYER raced slighty wide. HENROB quit. BOOK MATCH was under light pressure steadily making up ground, had to be taken in hand running up behind the leaders on the final turn, came to the outside for the stretch drive and won going away. MRS. MAC was a keen contender racing between horses and finished well to best REBA K. The latter gamey repulsed challengers while setting the pace, then weakened when displaced by the winner. BLUE MIRAGE was hustled to be with the pace and tired. NEVERSINK attempted to bear out in the backstretch, raced wide on the final turn and lacked a response. PULSATOR had to take wide working from behind on the final turn, closed fast in the late stages and won going away WARMED OVER lost ground outside horses on the turn, appeared safely in command reaching the front in midstretch, then hung. LIGHT STEP raced between horses most of the distance and may have lacked racing room, but finished "willingly. JIMMINETTY began sluggishly and circled horses late. WAR PHAR bore out slightly entering the stretch, then faltered. FLIGHT ADMIRAL weakened under pressure. Won driving; second and third the samel BLUE SPARKLER was strongly restrained close to the pace for .three furlongs, willingly opened a clear lead, in the strefch without need of urging, but was called upon to hold WINDSOR KING .safe in the final stages. WINDSOR KING dropped back from a quick beginning, saved ground behind the field to the head of the stretch, then found a large opening between horses and finished with a rush. ELLENS SPY was hustled along setting the early pace, bore out badly in the stretch and finished beyond the middle of the track. MISTER C. L. rallied nicely, but was carried very wide by ELLENS SPY.
