• — — .- — ♦ Miss Olympia, Roman Senator Entered Today at Sportsmans ■ Each May Rule Favorite in Pair of Co-Features to Be Run Over Seven Furlongs SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 5. — One of the best Friday racing programs of the two-week old Sportsmans Park meeting, is on tap for tomorrow wheja pair of top grade seven-furlong races will go as the double feature. In the fifth race, the first portion of the twin bill, is the ,500 Fair Play Purse at seven furlongs, which attracted the following speedsters: Fred W. Hoopers Miss Olympia, Emerald Isle Hotel Stables Charlies Gem, John F. Becks River Gate, Double L. Farms Coliseo. Fortune Stables Flying Busher, Valley View Farms Portage Boy, and Thomas Hughes Tee J. H. The sixth race, the ,000 Lombard Purse, also for seven furlongs, is headed by Armer and Nails Roman Senator, who will be opposed by Thomas Q. Preeces No Return, Mrs. Frank Munaos Golden Admiral, William H. Bishops Alsabs Ace, Charles F. Wagner and Eric Reibers Boiler Plate. Merle M. Mitchells Consentina, and Charles Fritz Sir Tribal. The Hooper colorbearer, Miss Olympia, shapes up as the probable favorite to win the fifth, since she has campaigned successfully in Florida this past winer. Trainer Ivan Parke believes the three-year-old filly will turn in a winning performance. Winner on Monday Card Portage Boy, who has started twice at the meeting, won his last start Monday when he defeated, among others, Andrew J. in a seven-furlong test. Prior to that victory Portage Boy finished second to Roman Senator on opening day. River Gate, also in the fifth race, is a winner at the meeting, winning from such class horses as Deo-dend, Yes R., and Armed Truce. Coliseo is making his first start after two winning performances at Hot Springs in his last two starts. Favoritism in the sixth race field will be shared by several of the entries, among them being Roman Senator, an opening day winner, and Cosentina, which finished second to En Fleur in the Top Flight Purse at seven furlongs on opening day. Sir Tribal, winner of the Centennial Derby at Denver last fall and victor in his last start at Sportsmans Park on April 27, also will be among those favored to win.
