Wise Margin Given 122 Impost for Governors Larry Ellis Four Pounds Less For Boston Week-End Handicap By J. N. LYON Staff Correspondent SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 5.— Saturdays 0,000 mile and one-sixteenth Governors Handicap, the last distance prep for the coming 0,000 added Massachusetts Handicap, has atracted a well matched field of 12 middle distance runners as revealed by the releasing of nominations and weights by the racing secretarys office this morning. Heading the line-up for the Governors Cap will be Samuel Tufanos Wise Margin with highweight of 122 pounds, conceding from four to 22 pounds to the remainder of the group. Wise Margin, winner of his only outing this meeting, is in the process of making a most serious preparatory campaign for the seasons big event. A victory on May 19, would give him two wins in the Massachusetts Cap and he would then be able to become the second two-time winner of the event. Ranked just back of Wise Margin is Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lingles Larry Ellis with an impost of 118 pounds. The seven-year-old gelded son of Easy Mon— War Cloth made , his return to the races just last Wednesday when he finished fourth in an overnight six-furlong allowance event. The gelding had been inactive since last fall and appeared to have retained his previous good form as he was running over horses in the stretch which would seem to indicate that all he was looking for would be a trifle longer race so that he could be at his best. Saturdays test will give him that, for the additional five -sixteenths of a mile will be all to his benefit and perhaps give him his first win of the year. T. P. Morgans Ezio is nicely rigged at 116 pounds which place of honor he holds with the Killian Farms Resilient. Harvey C. Fruehauf s Precious Stone has been assigned 115 pounds, J. and P. Venutis Pipe of Peace 112, J. s. Phipps Parnassus 111. Jerry Lynchs Sonic 109, B. Greens Swift Steve 107, J. L. Friedmans Wabash Moon 106, the Red Head Stables Bank Coal 102 and the Circle K. Farms Mighty Ike picks up low-weight of 100 pounds. ►
