Virginia Steeplechasing Season Ends at Warrentpn Tomorrow WARRENTON, Va., May 5.— A highly successful spring agenda of steeplechasing racing in the Old Dominion will be concluded here Saturday with the thirtieth jrunning of the Virginia Gold Cup. To be contested over U measured four mile course and 27 stiff timber fences, the gruelling event highlights a well-balanced program of six races. Luring 15 top chasers, the race which offers only a trophy to the winner finds Democles, a local hopeful- owned by George W. Offutt, m, in the favorites role. He is trained and will- be ridden by Grover Stephens. Others slated to go in the feature are: Donald W. Pattersons Tamer, Samuel R. Frys Magical, Gerald Weiss Gold Tar, Mrs. Charles C Jelkes Big Breeze, George S. Brannons Farmers Joy, Edwin J. Goulds Mahatma, W. L. Rochester, Jr.s Conjure Ghost, Mrs. Amory S.
