Hanley Aboard First Winner FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., May 9. — The veteran reinsman L. J. Col-clasure, who hails from Louisville, HI., stole the show here Tuesday night in driving home the first three winners on the program, but one of the highlights was the performance- of apprentice John Joseph Hanley, an 18-year-old 103-pounder who rode the first winner of his career. The Lowell, Mass., youngster was given the mount on H. H. Rendlemans Shoot Man in the featured Casey ville Purse by trainer E. A. Cole, holder of Hanleys contract. The youth put up a rousing ride to get home first with his mount, practically "stealing" the race, skimming the inside •ail as Thunder Bits carried Lady Haste .vide in the stretch.
