i Sixty Two in Quest Of Added Laurels Consistent Raffleman Racer Faces Half Dozen Opponents At Sportsmans Park Today SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 9. — Nate L. Raffelmans Sixty . Two, winner of two races at the current meeting at Sportsmans Park, goes pbstward in Thursdays sixth race over the one and one-sixteenth miles route in quest of his third straight victory when he faces six other rivals in the ,500 Spanish Queen Purse. The four-year-old gelded son of Selal-beda — Madynan faces Emil Dusts Rudys Valley, H. W. Shadowens Squire Wilson, L. and M. Stables Im Expectin, Mrs. Charles Silvers Felda, George Gerbers Niral and William H. Bishops Gallaride in the test. Sixty Two thus far in 195G won four races, finished second once, and third on another occasion in eight starts. His previous victories were scored during the Oak-Lawn Park session at Hot Springs. Victories at One Mile and Over The two triumphs at Sportsmans Park were a one mile victory over Noras Watch on April 27 and the other over the one and one-sixteenth miles route last Friday when he defeated Laurel King by a neck, with Squire Wilson a half length behind to take third money. The latter was a winner in a previous start at the local course, defeating Cortina by a length in a mile offering on April 30. Two horses in Thursdays field will be making their first start for new owners. They are Gallaride, who was purchased by Bishop the other day, and Im Expectin, which was claimed out of last Tuesdays Howitz Purse when she finished second to Appropriate, Niral and Rudys Valley are making their first start at the"" meeting, the latter campaigning in Florida while Niral competed during the Hot Springs meeting. Felda, a member of the powerful string of thoroughbreds owned by Mrs. Charles Silvers, of Miami Beach, Fla., started only once at the current meeting, being unplaced in a mile event on May 2.
