OFF AT 1:15 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good Wen ridden out; second and third driving. VERY ULTRA, hustled along early to gain a clear advantage saved ground much of the way and was ridden out to hold CHARMING HOST safe. The latter, held under liqht restraint while saving ground early, was broliqht to the extreme outside on the final turn and finished full of rim to be clearly best of the others. GOLD MONEY broke sluggishly, raced wide and, while improving his position steadily in the late stages, he could not menace the top pair. IAMARELIC followed in close pursuit of the early leaders, moved from the outside when ready on entering the stretch to -wear down KINDA ROUGH with a "rush nearing the furlong marker and drew well clear with ease. COSMOS raced wide and while improving his racing position when put to a drive he could not threaten the winner. KINDA ROUGH tired from his pacemaking efforts. PRIZE RING was never a serious factor. ENRICHED forced the early pace while in hand, raced on the outside and in a long drive proved slightly best over HUNG UP. The latter displayed good speed from the start, saved ground and held on stubbornly. TOMMY GRIFFIN, never far back, came to the outside to make his bid entering the stretch and finished fastest of all. FOUR IN DECK found his best stride too late. ONE TO GO was used up early. COUNT MIKE was always far back in a dull effort. RASCAL YOU raced in the rear flight throughout. VILLE DESTE could not keep up. FLORAL GIRL was unhurried while being outrun *arly, then was sent up between horses to make her bid on the final turn and under strong handling wore down MEMO, a furlong out. The latter had speed from the start, saved ground and while giving way readily to the winner, she was easily best of the others. PHOEBE unseated her rider during the post parade and ran off for three-eighths. She broke with her field at the start and after forcing the issue to the early stretch, faltered in a long drive. COVEY RISE broke tardily, then moved up fast rounding the turn and bore out badly while under pressure entering the stretch. AMUSE and LEAD STORY were always outrun. The latter engaged MYTLES JET from the outside early .put that one away while under pressure in the early stretch and had little left to withstand the belated bid of the winner. UP BETIMES, slow to settle into stride, was forced to come exceeding wide to make her bid entering the stretch and finished full of run. SORCERESS saved ground tono avail.
