Ohio Notes i « FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 9. — Jockey John McCracken, who returned to Lthe saddle yesterday after serving a day suspension, wasted no time in taking up where he left off. McCracken was second leading rider with 13 wins before he was grounded and now has 16 to his credit. He chalked up a triple here on Tuesdays card. His trio of winners were Ballyneety, Buds Baby and Merry Maestro. The latter finished second in the fourth race but was placed first through a disqualification. Luther Wilson, who trains a public stable, saddled his seventh winner of the current meeting when he tightened the girth on Buds Baby, winner of the seventh race here yesterday, placing him in a tie for leading training honors with H. S. Mitchell. Omaha Fair, a scheduled starter in Wednesdays-eighth race, was withdrawn when he developed a swollen ankle. The son of Omaha is the property of C. B. 1 Sperry and is conditioned by O. W. Stod-1 dard.
