— ► : I Jockey Valenzuela Has Five l Winners on Tanforan Card J TANFORAN, San Bruno, Calif., May 9. — Jockey IsmacI Valenzuela- was preparing to leave here this evening for Hollywood Park after on Tuseday having enjoyed the most successful day of his career in the saddle. He rode- the j entire program of eight races and had j five winners, one second and one third j constituting a record for the Tanforan j meeting. Valenzuelas winners were Little Pig in the second race, Alcodon in the third, Waltz Lark in the fifth, Frappe in the sixth and Mani Sweep in the seventh. He had to survive a claim of foul from Alex Maese on Mr. Jeppi in the sixth to sec Frappcs nose victory confirmed. Valenzuela was second with Vapor Therapy in the opening event and third with Fashion Hill in the fourth. His only unplaced mount was Speed n Valor in the last race. Valenzuela is the leading rider of t the meeting with a total of 61 winners and it was not expected that he would ! be overtaken. The Tanforan season ends Saturday.
