Run Nine Races Daily Rest of Fonner Meeting Hopeido, Mr. Bob Match Strides In fest Race on Todays Card By DEAN WILLIAMS FONNER PARK, Grand Island, Nebr. May 9. — The management announced a new policy for the final five days of the Fonner Park meeting. A program of nine races will be presented each day with a post time of 3.00 p.m. CST and the regulai 2:30 p.m. CST post for the first race oi Saturday. The new policy was announced Tuesday and met with approval of the -horsemen, who have been unable to start as much as they would like because of the large number of horses on the grounds. Thursday will be the first day that new plans will be put into effect and will feature the eighth race. The race will be con-* tested over five and one-half furlongs and will have eight horses going to the post under a ,000 claiming price. The field includes: Pat McGee, Low Whistle, Mr. Bob, Carters Oats, Royal Grey Boy, Tangled Joe, Big Return and HopeidD. Ben Fogelsons Hopeido was a winner here against cheaper company, but she won .so easily she must be considered, though she has been raised a 00 claiming price. Mr. Bob, a highly consistent sprinter from the stable of Wallace Strong, has raced very well against similar company. The chestnut son of Ambrose Light has been in the money three out of four starts,! two of which were seconds. I
