Firsts for Golden Admiral PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 9.— The victory of Golden Admiral in the opening day Baltimore Spring Handicap was a "first" in many respects. It marked the initial stakes triumph for his owner, Mrs. Henry Obre, as well as for his trainer and jockey, Charles R. Lewis and Tony Russo. Incidentally, it was also the initial stakes success for the horse, who was acquired during the recent Bowie meeting from the William Hal Bishop Stable Inc. for a reported 0,000. In three starts for Mrs. Obre, Golden Admiral has two wins and a fourth, for earnings of 2,900.
