Ship Remains of B. Thornton To Jacksonville, FIav for Burial FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, IU., May 9. — The remains of Burton Jasper "Buck" Thornton, the 39-year-old jockey who was found dead in bed of an apparent heart attack Tuesday morning by trainer A. W. Kirkpatrick was flown Wednesday night to Jacksonville, Fla., for burial. William Brinson, a representative of the Jockeys Guild at Fairmount Park, made arrangements through Ike Bassett, manager of the central division of the Guild, to fly the remains to the Florida city for burial. Kassley funeral home at Collinsville shipped the body from Collinsville to Lambert Airport at St. Louis, then over Slick Airlines to New York where it was to be transferred by the Riddle Airlines to Jacksonville.
