Double Duty for Hinkle LEBANON, Ohio, May 9.— Charlie Hinkle, veteran harness race caller, will make his debut as an announcer at a thoroughbred track at River Downs, which opens Friday, May 25. -In fact, Hinkle, from May 25 through June 9, will double as announcer at River Downs and Lebanon. River Downs will be in operation in the afternoon and Lebanon, a harness race plant, at night. The two tracks are located only 20 miles apart, permitting Hinkle to handle the mike at both courses.
