Ohio Harness Race Season Opens Tomorrow at Painesville COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 9.— The Ohio harness race season will get under way Friday, when a 44-night meeting opens at1 Painesville Raceway. On the next nightr. Saturday, Lebanon Raceway will inaugurate a 25-night spring session. For the first time, harness racing personnel is being licensed by the Ohio State Racing Commission. The night harness race schedule for the, Buckeye State, exclusive of fair dates, follows: Painesville Raceway — May 11 through June 30 44 nights. Lebanon Raceway — May 12 through June 9 25 nights. Hilliards Raceway — June 12 through, July 28 41 nights. Grandview Oval — July 2 through Aug. 21 44 nights. The management of the Lebanon track also plans a 19-night fall meeting but has not yet applied to the State Racing Commission for dates.
