Won driving; second and third the same. RUSH STREET was racing in his best form, was nearest in pursuit of GRACIOUS ONE to the stretch, gave way to ALPINO at the final turn, then came again, under brisk urging and wore down the latter in the final strides. ALPINO was in hand early, moved up fast approaching the stretch, then settled for the drive with a clear lead, but could not hold the top one and just missed. ROZS PRIDE was unable to better his position when set down through the stretch. KRISTI W. reared at the break, gradually made up ground, but was unable to threaten the leaders. GRACIOUS ONE took an early lead, made the pace to the stretch while engaging RUSH STREET, but had nothing left for the drive. SKY HALL had a rough trip. FAR SAIL could not keep up. BY GONE DAYS was forced to race wide from the outset and was never prominent. SHOOTING STAR had early foot, but failed to stay. SWAMP GUIDE had brief speed. BOLD ATTEMPT, away sluggishly, gradually improved position to the stretch., closed determinedly but could not seriously threaten the winner. GREEK SWORD lacked early foot but closed fairly well under punishment. NIPPERSINK raced well to the stretch, then drifted out while tiring. COMMARGO was never dangerous. SECOND AGENT raced wide.
