Tempis Image and Trading 4 Have Chance of Chalking Up Their Second Wins of Meet CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 9. — The Fair Phantom Purse, at four and one-half furlongs for twb-year.-old ! fillies, is perhaps the best event on the mediocre program, scheduled for Thursday at this South "Louisville course. The Fair Phantom lured an overnight band of nine junior misses, representing seven interests, and it shapes up as a fair feature. Kenneth Burkhart will be represented in the juvenile dash by a pair, comprising |Tempts Image, 114, and Kathryn Ann, 1 117 pounds, while Ernest H. Lane, the Texas thoroughbred owner and breeder, also is to send out a duo, the speedy Deck, 117, and Bolsa, pegged at 110 pounds. Others expected to start are Mrs. Elizabeth Mucklers Redruth, 117, James Paddocks locally-owned Wendy K., 117, Preston Thompsons Aveneg, 110, Ralph Wallaces Baby Jet, 109, and Clifford skys Louisville-owned Trading, 117 pounds under the Fair Phantum allowance terms.
