NATIONAL HUNT STEEPLECHASE i Special Correspondence. CHELTENHAM, England. The National Hunt Steeplechase, which was first postponed a week and later abandoned owing to the Prestbury course being flooded, has been reopened to be run at the Cheltenham spring meeting April 15. Officials say that the winner of this race will be considered as having won the National Hunt Steeplechase in 1937, and his name will be included in the list of winners of that important race. The National Hunt Steeplechase for maidens under all rules of racing at entry time is considered second only in importance to the Grand National.
