INSTALL CAMERA AT OMAHA Picture Device to Be Used This Year at Ak-Sar-Ben Meeting for the First Time. OMAHA, Neb., April 3. The Powers Multiple-Eye Camera, a product of the Electronic Control Corp. of Detroit, will be installed at Ak-Sar-Ben Field for the spring meeting scheduled May 27 to July 5, W. H. Schellberg, chairman of the Ak-Sar-Ben racing committee, announced today. It will be the first time in history that a photo finish device has been used at the Omaha plant. The Powers Multiple-Eye Camera is the improved type used at Detroit, River Downs and Thistle Downs. "Ak-Sar-Ben is going after the better class of horses and we desire to give owners the fairest chance. This can be accomplished, we feel, through the installation of the camera eye," said chairman Schellberg. The testimonial received from H. R. All-house, vice-president of the River Downs Racing Association at Cincinnati, had much to do with Ak-Sar-Ben settling on the Powers Multiple-Eye Camera.
