TANFORAN TURF NOTES s e Watersplash is training nicely again after a short lay-off and will be seen in action soon. Willie Young, 19-year-old novice rider from the Mission district, is slated to make his debut Friday. He was to have made his bow recently, but the horse was scratched. Seabiscuit, which had been taken to Pleas-anton several days ago by trainer Tom Smith, has been vanned back to Tanforan and will train for the 0,000 added March-bank Handicap. Exhibit, crack sprinter in the Charles S. Howard stable, was likewise brought back with Seabiscuit. Cohort Miss will be retired from racing and used as a brood mare. She has dropped in class greatly in the last two years.
