I TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES $ Jockey C. Stafford canceled his mounts on Saturday and jockey F. Maschek was substituted. Bobby Houlihan arrived from the West Coast and took in the last few days of the sport of the Gables Racing Association. Bobby will remain a week or more to gain a sun tan before leaving for New York. Hirsch Jacobs, leading trainer at both Tropical Park meetings, will ship his Florida division to Jamaica, Long Island, where he will pick up the remainder of the horses for the New York season. Among the shipments to New York tonight and tomorrow will be the horses of W. H. Gallagher, Paul B. Codd, Mrs. G. C. Winfrey, the Maemere Farm and the Paragon Stable. A count of the claims that were confirmed during the first twenty-three days of the Tropical Park meeting, excluding Saturday, revealed that eighty-five horses changed ownership for a total of 37,450. George Alexandra, trainer for the Medway Stable, was the leader among the haltermen when be obtained thirteen horses.
