Bohn, owners of the Bomar Stable, departed Saturday for Detroit. Trainer W. E. Jones arrived at Havre de Grace from Tropical Park with fifteen horses own by the Liberty Lane Stable. George Brenton arrived from Hot Springs with four head which he will race here. R. H. "Specs" Crawford shipped Dain-ger. Lewis, Bright Prince and Lee Knight here and will prepare them for racing. Jockey E. De Camillas severed his connection with trainer H. G. Bedwell and will ride as a free lance. Officials of the Hagerstown Fair Association will meet Sunday to draw up plans for that meeting, which opens in May. Mutuels manager Mortimer Mahony reported that the play for the first two days was 00,000 greater than the corresponding two days of last season. Johnny Gilbert and J. Barba were tied with three winners each at the end of the first two days racing. Willie Shea is seeking the whereabouts of Grant Jones, former stable foreman for the late W. J. Spiers. He has a position for him with a racing stable. Grant was last heard of on a Maryland farm. Lieut Governor Frank Hays of Connecticut arrived Saturday to witness his Lady Carrot start in the third race.
